An Iowa Voter Forced Ted Cruz To Confront The Human Toll Of Repealing Obamacare

Ted Cruz, just like the other Republican candidates, is trying to convince his constituents that government is never the answer, so obviously Ted Cruz couldn’t give the gentleman an answer to his question “what would Ted Cruz replace the Affordable Care Act with”, Ted Cruz clearly doesn’t want government to be in the equation whatsoever. Ironically, Ted Cruz isn’t covered, nor is his family as we speak because he neglected to sign himself and his family into an HMO on time. I don’t understand why any person would ever want to go back to the days prior to the Affordable Care Act, I went through being denied coverage because of my pre-existing condition, I also went through being denied procedures by a bureaucratic paper-pusher and number cruncher, I don’t ever want to go back to those times ever again. I reject Ted Cruz and the Republican Party’s worldview when it comes to government, I believe that government is all about us, it is for us and government should be taken from all walks of life to better reflect our society. Government is meant to provide our citizenry with solutions because government is how we order our society and no matter how often the Republican Party tries to convince us otherwise, they can’t escape it, they are the ones who increase our government and our deficit spending, it is part of the historical record. Reagan, H.W Bush and W. Bush are all guilty of expanding government with Clinton and Obama coming in to clean up the excesses and mess left by their predecessors. You cannot deny facts and accounting.
