This article, I think, highlights a central tenet to Hillary’s poor likeability numbers, she appears to be part of the Wall Street democrats, those who have turned a blind eye to the criminal behaviors of the big banks over the course of a decade or two and not caring as long as they receive the campaign donations needed to stay in power. You cannot say you are a progressive democrat, which she has been trying to make a case to the American people that she is, especially since Bernie has been on fire, and still protect Wall Street. Hindsight is 20/20 and I understand now that Bill Clinton turned his back on the legacy of the New Deal, he gave us NAFTA, the repeal of Glass-Steagal and welfare reform, I fear that Hillary Clinton only understands that type of neo-liberal economic policy, that she rejects the economic foundations from the New Deal, I believe that the Clinton’s economic prescriptions will only give us more of the same, Wall Street does extremely well while Main Street lies in stagnation. This is why I support Bernie Sanders, he wants to upend the status quo and reclaim the economic legacy of the New Deal era. He wants for us to join him in rebuilding the middle and working class, I think that joining his political revolution is a step in the right direction in rebuilding this nation, one brick at a time, together.
