Orlando Massacre Wasn’t Enough To Spur Senate To Pass Gun Control Bills

Senator Feinstein unfortunately hit the nail on the head putting the responsibility for getting things done back to the voters, if we want smart anti-gun violence laws, we have to vote those who don’t subscribe to the same goal out and vote in those who would legislate a sensible gun control agenda. The Supreme Court itself feels that the Second Amendment isn’t under threat from a lawsuit out of Connecticut banning semi-automatic and automatic weapons, so if the highest Court views these bans as constitutional then we should be able to have it at the federal level. Our public spaces should be considered sacred and safe, weapons of mass destruction such as AR-15’s do not belong, democrat and republican lawmakers alike need to understand that and if they continue to do the NRA’s bidding they need to be shown the door because they are contributing to our gun violence problem.
